WHO IS KIWA?
Kiwa Social Media was born to navigate businesses through the social media and digital marketing landscape. Our mission is to help brands reach their full potential with the use of social media engagement, clever content marketing and innovative advertising campaigns.
The name Kiwa has several references. It speaks to the connection we have to the ocean here in Turanga-Nui-a-Kiwa, Gisborne NZ. The name Kiwa also acknowledges our role as navigators, protectors and innovators across the digital marketing landscape.
Kiwa - short for Mereanamokikiwa, is also the grandmother of our founder. Kiwa hails from the tribal lands of Te Whānau-A-Apanui, and resides in Christchurch. Her name, Kiwa references the protector of the sacred fishing waters in Te Whānau-A-Apanui.
